You’ll quickly learn that I was brought up on a strict diet of British guitar music as a boy, so whenever anything remotely close to the indie lad scene I adored comes up I’m on to it in a snap. What’s this got to do with one boy band and DJ wiz My Heart Your Heart? He got his big break by covering Joy Division’s lauded classic ‘Love Will Tear Us Apart’, turning one of the greatest, most heartbreaking tracks of all time into a disco tinged, synth pop masterpiece.

Since then, I’ve been following MHYH very closely, and for good reason too apparently. His latest track Eleven is sure to catch the eye of record label exec’s and high-profile dance aficionados alike. It’s the Max Smart remix though that really captures the imagination, and basically, to sum it up in one word: VIBE.
It’s love at first sight with Smart’s swooping synths coupling gorgeously with MHYH’s underlying piano register. A shift in tempo works like clockwork with MHYH’s signature vocals, not to mention the breakdown from 2.50 onwards will break your heart. I can’t stress enough how beautiful this track is; play this shit to your girlfriend to show her how much she means.
