Something a little heavier and out of the disco woods for ya Wednesday with Designer Drugs, kings of the grindhouse (who  knows?) scene, taking on electro sampling, hip hop heavyweights Chiddy Bang and their newy ‘Here We Go’. Not known for our support of the electro bangors (twice in a day, what’s happening to this blog?), Designer Drugs really take this hip hop jam to a dance-your-ass off rave party.

Featuring the trademark flow of Q-Tip (worked with Chemical Brothers, Mark Ronson and helped produce Kanye’s ‘Dark Twisted Fantasy’), the track revolves around his smooth lyrical hooks, growing and mutating with the progressively heavier synth workout and trademark filter breakdown before launching into a tribal funk, bassline attack. Expect chaos when dropped.
